These Terms of Service govern your use of HEIC to PNG. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Service description

HEIC to PNG provides a browser-based tool for converting HEIC files to PNG images. The tool is provided for general use and is currently available for free.

The conversion runs in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not upload or store the files you select for conversion.

Your content

You retain all rights to the files you choose and the PNG results created from them. We do not claim ownership over your content.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use, convert, download, and share any files you process with HEIC to PNG.

Acceptable use

Lawful use only

You agree not to use HEIC to PNG for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing purposes. You must not use the site to process content that violates applicable laws, violates the rights of others, or contains malware or other harmful material.

Don't disrupt the service

You also agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to bypass technical limits, overload the service, or use automated systems in a way that disrupts normal use.

Availability and changes

HEIC to PNG is offered as a free tool, but we may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the site at any time. We may update features, remove features, or change how the site works without prior notice.

Conversion results

We aim to provide accurate and useful conversion results, but we cannot guarantee that every HEIC file will convert successfully on every device or browser. Very large files, unusual HEIC encoding, limited device memory, or browser restrictions may affect conversion.

You are responsible for checking the output before using it for important work.

Third-party services and links

The site may use third-party services for analytics, advertising, hosting, content delivery, or other operational needs. The site may also link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

Disclaimer of warranties

HEIC to PNG is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of reliability, availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

You use HEIC to PNG at your own risk. You are responsible for keeping backup copies of your files and checking any output before relying on it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HEIC to PNG and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, or other intangible losses arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site.

We are not responsible for failed conversions, browser crashes, device limitations, interrupted downloads, corrupted files, lost files, inaccurate output, third-party service issues, or any costs you incur because of using or being unable to use the site.

Liability cap

HEIC to PNG is provided as a free tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the site, including conversion errors, downtime, data loss, file loss, business loss, or reliance on any output, will not exceed the amount you paid directly to us, if any, for using HEIC to PNG during the 12 months before the claim. Because HEIC to PNG is currently provided for free, that amount will generally be zero.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HEIC to PNG and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the site, your files, your output, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Applicable law limits

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations of liability. In those places, the limitations above apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
